Peer review

The Journal of Civil Law subjects articles submitted to its Studies and Essays sections to a rigorous evaluation and selection process, provided they comply with the rules contained in the Style Guide. The review process will be carried out simultaneously and anonymously by a minimum of two independent specialists. The result of the review process may be acceptance of the work for publication, acceptance conditional upon revision or correction by the author, or rejection. Authors will be informed of the conclusion of the review process and, where applicable, also of the suggestions contained in the reviewers' reports, which will be available to them so that they may incorporate the corrections and, to the extent possible, the suggestions contained therein.
